
Samaire Rhys Armstrong is an American actress, fashion designer, and model. Born to Sylvia Sepielli and Hunter Armstrong on October 31, 1980 in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in a military family where she was even trained in the martial arts. She attended Sedona Red Rock High School and later went to the University of Arizona where she pursued a career in acting.
Armstrong has starred in over 30 movies and TV shows including It's a Boy Girl Thing, Just My Luck, Dirty Sexy Money, Stay Alive, Not Another Teen Movie, Around June, Rise: Blood Hunter, the Staircase Murders, Adopting Terror, Darkwolf, 5 Souls, Better With You, The Last Harbor, That's Life, Concrete Blondes, Would I Lie To You?, Trash, Windsor Drive, A Winter Rose, The X-Files, Sons of Anarchy, Entourage, The O.C., Freaks and Geeks, ER, Judging Amy, Party of Five, and more. She is also known for her clothesline NARU which she spends her freetime performing.
Today, at 33 years old, Armstrong is the mother of Calin Armstrong by the musician Jason Christopher and currently resides in Los Angeles.
She plays the role of Elaine Richards in ABC's Resurrection.
